While the conflict in Israel and Gaza has captured the headlines in recent weeks, the war in Ukraine is still happening. And many of the victims of this conflict are innocent children, traumatised by what they’ve seen — or by the unimaginable disruption to their lives.
Vivace! — a local Sussex choir — has performed in the church many time through the years, but this time the concert was in aid of Gen.Ukrainian, a charity working to support those very children. The charity holds psychological intensives, creates rehabilitation programs, which also engaging in research, and implementing projects designed to improve the mental health of children and adults.
The choir was joined by a Ukrainian singer, Yuliia, who performed three solos in Ukrainian.
